Licensed facility:  Make sure a CURRENT county health department LICENSE is posted at all times! Call your county for verification!  (Our license will be available on our bulletin board and at the county office after we announce our grand opening.)

Low children to teacher ratio:  Little Orchard will have 1:<6, 2:<12.  (Depending on the school and area the numbers will vary, so check your county's health department for rules and regulations for each school!)

Certified directress with an accredited program:  Ask others in the Montessori community what is recommended as there are many unsupported programs called 'Montessori MODIFIED".  (Many of these programs run under the name 'Montessori' yet are not AMS or AMI certified.)
